SHOWER ME WITH LOVE

After my bath time post of this weekend, I also felt the need to show you these gorgeous showers I have seen recently. As my bath takes to 'much' time to fill and I am not that patient, I usually take a shower. Preferably really hot and not toooo long. But in these beautiful showers it wouldn't be difficult to lose track of time and dream away for hours. I love the darker showers (and bathrooms) for their luxury/warm/hotel look and feel. It feels so exclusive that you're almost not sure if it is your own bathroom or if you are on holiday in a 5 star hotel. At the same time I love the all white showers/bathroom for their clean, pure and summery vibe. I will have a tough one once I can start redoing my bathroom... Choices.

BATHING TIME

The last time was 7 years ago, but I did it again today: I ran 10k! And within a great time, if I say so myself; 1.02.37. After that I went for a well deserved shower but could just as easily treated myself to a long hot bath. I have a great tub myself, but I am secretly dreaming of a new bathroom (and a new house, but ok). My favourite is the bathroom with the oval tub and the Swiss cross (pictures 1 and 4). Love the colors, the setting, the wall behind the tub and the free standing fosset. But I also found some other great bathroom with tubs.

As you see I have a preferance for free standing tubs. I like the oval ones best but the bathrooms with the rectangular ones are also very sophisticated.  That white bath and wall surrounded by the black tiles, very temporary. Whilst the other rectangular bathtub is situatied in a complete white, but wooden surrounding, very rustic and romantic.
I am of to fill my own bathtub for some relaxing time. Have a great weekend!
