BOND AMSTERDAM
Voordat mijn man mijn man was en wij ook maar vermoedden dat wij ooit zouden trouwen, ontmoetten wij elkaar ooit snel op het terras van dit restaurant. Bond Amsterdam.
Have a great weekend!

MINT. IS LIFE!
After a great week in the mountains, skiing with the family, it was back to work last Monday. As it was only a very short week, the kids' holiday started Thursday early afternoon already, I had to pull out all registers. It was hectic, but I was albe to present a new project in 't Gooi, had an intake for a new project and was albe to finish up and send all details for my new website of MINT. interior design to the website builders. Finally my very own website is ready and I am able to share it with you! Hope you all like it and will come to me with some great projects ;)!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS
It has been a bit quiet around the blog the last two weeks as I was already in the 'shutting down' modus and realy wanted to focus on my family and my interior design business. I wanted two really great projects to 'fall' and made sure they did.
I finallized on a new logo for my blog and my new, yet to be built, website of MINT Interior Design.
We will again spend a wonderful and quit Christmas at home, just the 4 of us. No hurrying form one familydinner to the next and stuffing ourselves. We will be cooking great seasonal food, but are trying to keep it simpel and just cook with really great ingredients instead of serving a 5 -7 course meal.
This afternoon we will start of the celebrations with a childrens Christmas mass in a cute little church in Naarden and tomorrow we will have a full-on Christmas breakfast (with homemade spelt Chistmas bread!). I really look forward to doing as little as possible and spend this time of year with the people I love the most and recharge our batteries for 2014! This means I will be offline for the coming two weeks and will only return January 6th.
Happy Holidays to all you lovely people!

AUTUMN LEAVE
Last week the kids had a week of from school. We enjoyed some time outside, in the woods picking acorns and chestnuts, but for the most time the kids wanted to stay in and do some crafting and pick their own colorpage from websites, so they could run up the stairs to our printer to pick it up... :). They are also still colouring on our Paris OMY poster.
Wednesday I drove my kids to my parents where they stayed for 4 full days! My man and I enjoyed some nice wine and food in Laren at winebar Otje and the next day we drove of to Maastricht for some more food, shopping and relaxing in our hotel, just across the border in Belgium.
It was a great week! A week with yet again a new assignment for Mint & Mocha Interiors (yeah!), but also time with my man, seeing my kids after 4 ful days, having a meal with the 4 of us and my parents, and lots of great wine, food and huge piles of chocolate.
How did you spend your week (off)?

A COOL BRASILIAN BEACH HOME
I am in a summer mood and as my earlier post indicated I have a special love for Brasil. Thats why I also wanted to share this stunnig beach home with you I stumbled across on one of my favourite blogs, My Scandiniavian Home. I just love the white, wood and neutral color palet. and really long for a place like this to utterly relax and enjoy time with my family.
